Negotiations Continue Among AFO, College
The Adjunct Faculty Organization (AFO), a union that represents the adjunct faculty members at HFCC, is currently in negotiations with the College's administration. In 2007, the adjunct faculty members organized a pledge drive towards unionization. After an overwhelming support, the AFO became a certified union with a membership vote of 334 to 41, and have been working since to promote itself within the college community as well as working with the College on negations for a new contract for its members.…

New Language Promoted by Philosophy Club
The College recently hosted an Esperanto presentation on Wednesday, October 8, in the Berry Amphitheatre of the ASCC Building. New Film Training Course at HFCC
Henry Ford Community College offered a two-week 40-hour Basic Film Set Training Course at The Michigan Technical Center (M-TEC) September 22-October 3. The program offered by HFCC and Tic Toc Studios was intended to provide intensive, hands-on training to prepare individuals for entry-level employment in the film and television industry.…

Ramadan Dinner a Success
The Muslim Student Association along the Yemen Student Association recently celebrated the Month of Ramadan with The Month of Ramadan: "A Time for Inner Peace and Unity."
